Areas our Glasgow Food Tours Cover

GEORGE SQUARE AND THE CITY CENTRE

This is the heart of the city centre so like any city centre it has some generic chain restaurants but also because of the footfall, some of the best restaurants are located here.  Some really traditional or interesting places have survived and of course the square itself is hugely historical with many interesting conversations to be had here.

MERCHANT CITY: A CULTURAL HUB

This is a historic area of regeneration.  It is round this part of the city rebranded as Merchant City in the 1990 where many significant figures in the Transatlantic Slave trade used to reside.  It is now quite densely populated with lots of cafes and restaurants.  There are many Scottish and multicultural food options here.

GLASGOW WEST END

This is many locals and visitors favourite part of the city and naturally has many eating options from traditional to modern. There are options for every kind of budget too from student friendly pricing to fine dining.  Guests can choose their food tour in this area if the select the Private Tour option.  Looking for independent recommendations?  See our guide to the best places to east in Glasgow's West End
